Xie Yao Hui . Prudential Financial Consultant

I knew Wendy back when we were fellow Financial Consultants. From our interactions, I found her to be passionate, brave and convicted in her beliefs. I joined her team in 2016 after my Director left Prudential. Since then, she's proven to be a supportive friend and an adept leader. Whenever I go to her with my problems, she listens patiently and sincerely. She is empathetic, affirming and non-judgemental. It's reassuring when I need a listening ear. When it comes to goal-setting and achievements, Wendy is a great cheerleader, encouraging during challenging times and cheering every little success. As good as she is at giving, Wendy is also a great receiver. She never fail to demonstrate appreciation for every bit of help rendered and sharing provided, no matter how small. I have seen her gone through times when challenges seem overwhelming, but she continues, seemingly undaunted. The passion, bravery and conviction is still there and perhaps have even grown over the years. I can only imagine how challenging it must be for her to juggle family, where she's a mother of 2 toddlers, and work, where she's a mother to a big group of Financial Consultants and a Financial Consultant to thousands. Her nurturing nature shines through at every moment and I'm grateful to have her as a friend and leader.

Lim Pei Yi . Prudential Executive Financial Consultant

When I first joined the industry, I didn’t have much expectations for this career. Back in 2012, at age 22, armed with just a diploma Cert, I told Wendy I hope I can make enough monthly to just get by with life. However, my low self-confidence, introverted nature, and along with my lack of sales skills made starting out as a Financial Consultant an uphill task. Wendy was there at every step of the way literally in the beginning. She patiently taught me financial concepts word by word, run through potential sales objections with me, and sometimes even went to do door-to-door sales with me after work hours to accompany and show me firsthand how to handle each unique household's financial planning properly, based on their financial needs. After working under her mentorship for a good 9years, whenever I have any work issues that I need her assistance, as long as I highlight to her, I know I’m in good hands as she will do her best to help resolve the problem as quickly as she can. Besides being a typical boss who advises on work-related stuff, she goes above and beyond her job scope. She’s always there to motivate and guide me on other life issues, honestly really taking care of me as if I’m her little sister on too many occasions. I knew for sure I would not have survived this harsh industry if I was under another mentor. Her dedication and genuine care and concern for each of us were what made the difference. I’m really lucky to have met her back then. It’s not too much to say she changed my destiny. So thank you, dear Wendy!

Moon Tay . Prudential Master Financial Consultant

Wendy is my Bestie and also the Best Manager anyone could ask for. She is very sweet and caring and will always check in with you to make sure things are ok. She is also a very dedicated and knowledgeable manager who will be there to answer your queries and do her best to assist you whenever you need help. She knows her agents very well and know what kind of support to provide them to ease their workload. She will constantly upgrade herself and think of new ideas to share with her agents. You will never regret to be under her wings as she always do her best to help you soar. #joinvgratnoregrets

Caline Chen . Prudential Executive Financial Consultant

I embarked on a mid-career switch under the mentorship of Wendy and she has been the most supportive, understanding and helpful boss I've had. She knows my potential and pushes me to my fullest. Yet, she also understands my shortcomings and finds the best way for me to work around them. Through this, I have managed to excel in this career despite juggling family life as a mom. She is constantly thinking of ideas to propel me further and I know that success is definitely possible with her! Deciding on Wendy as my mentor has been one of the best decisions in my life, and I hope you make a good one for yourself too!

Wang Yun Fa . Prudential Executive Financial Consultant

I have been a Financial Consultant for more than 16 years. I was under several different Agency Leaders and have heard much about many other Agency Leaders too. I can conclude Wendy is definitely one of the best around. I've known her since she started this career. She is sincere and hardworking as a Financial Consultant, an Agency Leader and as a person in general. She was my junior and worked hard to be in her current position in a short span of time. I'm very happy for her and equally delighted for myself to be under her management. Together with her husband Elson, they manage the agency well and I feel that the agents are in good hands as they serve from their hearts. I truly wish them and the agency as a whole every success in this career.

Cheryl Song . Prudential Executive Financial Consultant

I have been in Wendy's agency for 5 years and counting. One of my greatest blessing in my career is to have her as my manager and mentor. She is a mentor that seeks to understand you genuinely and bring out the best in you. She does not believe that there is only one path to be a successful Financial Consultant. Instead, she recognizes that every person has their strengths and weaknesses and will customize a plan to grow and nurture us individually. Most importantly, she has always been like an elder sister to me as well, listening to my troubles and guiding me in life. From a fresh graduate to now a mother of 1, Wendy has really helped shaped me into who I am today. Thank you for being such an amazing boss, mentor and sister to me. Looking forward to many more years with you, boss!
